.....................Add more from your side.

There is no ending to this gist...
Hence, it's time to address the Real Talk!
Such unrealistic fancy trends are getting viral on all social media platforms and innocents are falling pray to it.
It's good to have goals but only when they are matching with the reality around.
Social media sets unrealistic expectations. My friend says, "on social media even salt is sold by saying it's sugar".
Social media has become a platform of sharing filtered life and overhyped positivity. Everything seems just in a perfect frame there. Many fail to realize that it is far away from the reality. No one talks about their failures, setbacks and imperfections there. Everyone is busy bragging about how happy and perfect life they are living with.
This leads to comparison and low self worth. We start doubting ourselves, we start comparing ourselves and this results in toxic self-loathing for not being a successful individual. Our life revolves around constantly checking how many comments and likes we have got on the post. We get consumed in the quest of approval and validation from others. But what happens when you find a single derogatory comment on your uploaded snap? Your confidence starts crushing down. You feel hopeless and worthless. Mental health takes a toll due all these fancy, fake realities that people around you project on social media.
People are loosing the real essence of bonds, moments and life with this. People are suppressing highs and lows just to seem perfect, successful and rich. Are these the only goals in life? People are behind instant gratification, shallow appreciation and temporary happiness. People are loosing their life; eventually they are loosing themselves!
Social media feed is all filled with picture perfect snaps of exotic places, luxury clothing, high-end accessories, luxury holidays, luxury cars, luxury homes, exotic food, business class travels and holidays in foreign lands. Everything seems like a rosy fairy tale fantasy land. People share their feelings of romantic dates, wedding anniversaries on social media rather than conveying the same to the respective person in your life. Some brag about costliest luxury gifts that they get. Why people complicate the life when they can find happiness in simple, small, ordinary things? What people get after this flashy pomp & show? Does this high class show off really offer happiness? People hardly communicate their feelings & emotions with their dear ones but post long intimate stories (even private intimate moments that make others uncomfortable) on social media, does this make any sense?
People are living with unrealistic standards and low values in life. There is no such a thing as perfect person, perfect friendship, perfect life. We all live with imperfections and flaws. There shall not be any shame in accepting the fact that we all live with a flawsome life.
People are under constant pressure of proving themselves how happy and wealthy they are in life. Everyone's destiny is different so the timelines to achieve the things. The chances are more to get influenced by these perfect life gimmicks when you are immature and unable to form own opinions. Once you master the art of self-belief you no longer fall pray to such shallow things in life. Make yourself so secure about who you are that you won't need any external validation or approval.
I was in this picture-perfect, post-perfect, upload-perfect race before. I exhausted and wasted my energy there rather than investing my energy in believing myself. Filtered content on social media is eating away the sense of mental security and peace from life. If anyone's uploads are disturbing your life and inducing you to be fake for others then it's a high time to ponder over.
Draw the line to know where to stop. Be in the moment rather than thinking about which camera angle will capture the best pic and filters to use to edit the pic. Accept the life with its flaws and try to be happy, content, satisfied, and secured inside. Work on yourself. Life is beautiful if you choose to take a glance inside than outside!!!
