Do you think you need to do mumbo-jumbo things to see the change in your life?

What if I say, "No" you just need to do simple things to have that desirable shift in your life?

Simple things matter the most!

We can make changes in our life by following these simple habits.

Every baby step counts that is taken toward self-improvement.

I shall introduce you to those things you are familiar with but maybe you ignored them, you disregarded them or simply these things never crossed your mind before.

1. Sharing - Sharing your ideas, emotions, experiences, and feelings may help you to learn so many things. People you meet in life are the best teachers provided you know the role of being a student to learn pearls of wisdom shared by them. Feel privileged to help people around you. Share your blessings. The more you give the more you will receive from the universe eventually.

2. Kindness - A random act of kindness can bring a major change in somebody's life. Kindness is the act of showing belongingness. What you expect from the other person you just need to check whether you give out first what you expect in return. Not everyone will reciprocate your kindness but that doesn't mean you shall stop being kind toward others who take note of your kind actions. Kindness in words, actions, and thoughts about yourself are great reminders to live a content life. Did you mark, I said kindness in thoughts about yourself which is crucial for self-love.

3. Communication - Lack of communication results in misunderstandings due to assumptions that are usually in contrast to reality. A constant flow of communication helps to maintain any bond and nobody feels left out or taken for granted. In my view, having a free flow of communication is like respecting people's presence, voice, views, and opinions. Greeting people, asking how they are doing, and showing concern may help someone sail through a bad day or perhaps a bad life for that matter.

4. Flexible Routine - Planning a routine with flexibility is liberating and less stressful. Preponing or postponing a few tasks will help you from overcommitting and being all over the place. A day shall be planned to avoid the last-moment mess. Moreover, keeping the routine flexible will help to stop draining out mental and physical exhaustion due to a lot of work. Systematic planning lessens the burden of overwork and results in more productivity due to focused efforts in one direction at a time.

5. Learnings - Learning something new is the by-product of doing new things daily. This is the best way to keep the brain engaged in new activities. Letting the brain discover new horizons with new learnings is an enriching experience. A goal for the day has to be trying out a new activity that will unleash the path of self-exploration in the new realm daily.

6. Purpose - How can you serve the highest purpose of your life? What can you offer best to those who are needy? How can you help society at large? are a few questions to think over. These are thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. Sometimes a journey of milestones starts with just a set of powerful questions.

7. Secret Santa - Surprising people with what you have to offer is the most memorable memory you can ever give to someone. Letting others feel deserved and valued is the skill to adopt. It could be a thing, it could be a few words of compassion, it could be anything that will make somebody's day special. Why wait till next Christmas then?

8. Blessings - Share your blessings among those who are less privileged to have them. Everyone is abundant with something in life. Some may have the knowledge to share, some may have nice fresh food to share, some may have free time to share words, and some may have extra things to share. Sharing these things helps others see humanity. Counting your blessings becomes a challenging task when nothing is going your way or working out what you thought would. But every day, you have at least one thing to be grateful for. Be grateful for that one thing when nothing seems working out. Being grateful for your blessings helps to see the light amidst the crisis.

9. Self-Time - Spare some time for yourself. Doing what you love to do helps to boost self-esteem. This helps in rejuvenating your exhausted inner soul. Every time you cannot prioritize yourself over something. But sparing a few mindful moments to tune into your inner soul is of vital importance. How about a solo date with yourself today?

10. Self-Talk - This is an important talk of the day because the things you say to yourself have the biggest impact on your life. Hence, be mindful and careful about the words that you say to yourself. This could be the best part of self-time hours. Meditation could be an avenue with which you can tune into your inner voice to listen carefully to the words that you speak to yourself. Most of the time, a thinking process runs on autopilot mode. You could say this is unconscious work that the brain does. To make it conscious you need to go inside a bit to deep dive into the inner world. See if you can explore something unexplored within.

11. Decluttering - Decluttering unwanted thoughts that linger in the mind for no reason, decluttering the people who suck your mental energy, decluttering things that no longer serve the purpose in your life, and decluttering the old habits that are hampering progress on an everyday basis helps to keep the life sorted. Decluttering the people may seem a significant loss but ultimately that brings inner peace to you. Minimalism is all about keeping what you need rather than want. Hence, note down which unnecessary things you choose to donate, which toxic people you have decided to get rid of, and thoughts that no longer deserve your time, energy, and attention. Simply choose to discard them.

"I have had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened." - Mark Twain.

Being in the driver's seat of life is a conscious activity. Very few can know its importance who are aware of who they are and where they want to be.

Get to know yourself to know others...

Get to know what best you can do to make yourself content with life...

Designing your life in your way takes a few simple steps. You are the artist of your life and the whole life is your canvas.

Make sure you choose to paint the best alluring art on that canvas, ultimately!!!
