Have you ever felt pulling your hairs with frustration because you are running out of solutions to fix your life?

I got you!🤠

Courage and confidence are like muscles; you need to constantly work on them. I heard this line somewhere and the wheel of thoughts started spinning in my head. How true is it? I asked myself.🤔

There are a few people who are by birth very courageous and confident. On the other hand there are a few who are not that courageous and confident in everything. Some of our personality traits are inherent by birth. Then comes the role of parents during the upbringing of the child. Then comes the surroundings and life experiences. All these are like mental conditioning that decides our nature, personality, thinking pattern and mindset.🧠

When we start spotting the flaws, we consciously decide to work upon them and there the journey of self-reflection and self-work starts. We decide some benchmarks and targets to achieve. But when these goals seem unachievable we feel guilty and this failure results into self-blame. The game of we are not good enough in anything starts unrolling. I am a loser and coward - this toxic internal dialogue makes us feel miserable and weak. We start comparing ourselves with others and this acts like fanning the fire in the wrong direction. Then starts the quest of proving ourselves to others every now and then; in fact, proving ourself every now and then!😏

My path was none other than this one but then I found a trick; a hack you could call.💡

We all are imperfect and that is the reason why every successful person has some flaws. What makes the difference is they choose to brush up their strengths instead of wasting their time on improving the weaknesses. No, I am not saying we just need to sideline our flaws, obviously not. Moreover, I am not generalizing this habit of highly successful people. We have to work on our flaws but we need to shift our focus on the areas where we are naturally courageous and confident. Where our attention and focus goes, that thing grows. So now apply this. I call it a "other way round technique" which worked for me like a magic.🪄

I have wasted many years behind fixing my flaws and in return, I felt series of disappointments and despairs. I found this like a mirage, the more I was trying to chase it the far away it was going. I was fed up with self-work. When you are so down to that point of life where the ray of hope seems impossible only there you discover the sunshine to keep going. That's where I discovered this other way round technique; yes, out of nowhere! (Do you remember the whole Universe conspires dialogue? Yeah, that happened at that very moment!)💁🏽‍♀️

I was a very shy, impulsive, sensitive and over-emotional person. I found it very hard to raise my voice wherever required so I was an easy target to get bullied when I was a child. (Well, Later Karma played its role in punishing the bullies and trouble givers. Universe always gives justice to those who are right!✌🏽) I was not very assertive in putting my thoughts and opinions upfront. I was lacking a courage to take actions and firm stand for myself. I was lacking confidence. My inherent nature was quite messy during childhood. In short, I had an extra work to fix my flaws. On the other hand, some of my friends and near ones where totally opposite to this and they were praiseworthy folks in my eyes. I was disappointed with my imperfections but then I discovered this other way round technique. Here I was conscious of my flaws but instead, I was working on my strengths more. This made the whole difference in the story!😀

I decided to pen my researched technique here because I know there are hundreds (I know, even more.) of beautiful souls out there who are just like me; who are clueless when it comes to polishing their best version. Earlier, I was not so open and vocal about my insecurities but then I chose to level up in life by sharing whatever I can share with the world. Covering up fears, insecurities, anxieties will only make them worse. They will eat away the peace of mind. But when you dare to speak, you find so many like you. You are not the only one in the journey; there is a whole like-minded tribe waiting with a warm welcome just a mile away. My only aim is to helping my tribe live their better life no matter what!🫰🏼

🫶🏽So from now on, follow this mantra -

"Choose to invest in your strengths instead of wasting your time on improving the weaknesses."

(🫢Word of caution - This mantra might not be for everyone out there so take if it resonates with you. If it doesn't, then leave it for others and wait for another little hack on some other day!)
